Virgin London Marathon 2012

Guy Taylor, a dedicated long time supporter of 8th Ashford Scout Group, has kindly agreed to run the London Marathon on 22nd April this year to raise funds for the Group.

The Group has a target to raise £12,000 in 2 years over many fundraising projects to replace both minibuses due to the legislation changes imposed in 2012.

Guy said "With the expenditure that the Group has proposed in a 2 year plan they are in need of support to ensure their financial security for the forthcoming project, I am therefore pleased to be running the Marathon in support of this very worthy cause. Please donate generously to make my commitment in undertaking the Marathon worthwhile. I aim to raise at least £2500 for the group so please help me to achieve this target."

Guy will be running as Number 50771 so please look out for him on TV or cheer him on if you go to watch.
